COLUMBUS, OH - News Release Date: 04-22-2004 -
"Central Federal Bank has changed its named to CFBank," company CEO David C. Vernon announced.
"The new name reflects our company's heritage, and it is an easier name for our customers to say and remember," said Parker MacDonell, Columbus Region President for CFBank.
CFBank opened its first Columbus office at 4249 Easton Way in late 2003.
The 3,600 square foot office, near Easton Town Center and I-270, features private offices where customers can do their banking. The bank offers a full range of loan and deposit services for individuals and businesses.
"We've set up a banking office that does not look or feel like a traditional bank branch," MacDonell said. "Our new customers appreciate the fact that we are easy to do business with, and that our office is a refuge of calm in a fast-paced world.
"The office is devoted to serving individuals and businesses with focused, personalized service and access to decision makers. We have developed an office staffed with five bankers who have a combined total of 70 years of experience serving banking customers in Central Ohio. Each of our officers has worked in or started a small business. We're off to a great start in Columbus."
CFBank also recently announced that its customers can use ATMs at Huntington Bank and KeyBank at no charge for withdrawals, deposits and other transactions.
